Looking For A Quick Snack? Try Garlic Popcorn Prawns From Coles

Popcorn Prawns

Want to try a delicious seafood snack without paying the earth? Try the Garlic Popcorn Prawns from Coles supermarkets.

It’s Friday night here in Australia and in the Hawkings house, it’s get your own night, meaning everyone eats what they want. Yesterday, we went to the supermarket to pick up some stuff and picked up Garlic Popcorn Prawns from Coles.

What makes this the perfect feast it’s the seafood alternative to KFC’s Popcorn Chicken. Popcorn Prawns are quick and simple and you can choose to use any sauce you want or just eat them without.

According to the product’s box, place the popcorn prawns on a baking paper lined tray and place the oven on 180 degrees for 15 minutes. We used our air fryer and placed it 160 degrees for 17 minutes.

For $5, you’re not getting much of a full meal. The popcorn prawns is a snack and cannot substitute for a full bowl. You can serve them in a seafood basket, place them in a salad and drizzle with garlic aioli. The choice is up to you.

What we’re amazed at is how amazing they taste! We love Popcorn chicken, we could eat Popcorn Prawns all day if we were allowed. They much larger than the average piece of Popcorn Chicken and much taster and the best part? It doesn’t make us feel sick if we eat too much!

Would we buy it again! Ah… yeah! We just wish it was more filling, but for a snack that can be cooked in the air fryer, we’re just happy to have tried it. If we had to buy it again, we’d buy two boxes, even if it is more money.

We might even come up with a recipe or five on a way to use them. We’re not sure yet. But watch this space.
