Sussex Drama: Meghan Accused Of Plagiarism

Sorry Sussex fans, but your girl Meghan is a thief of the wordsmith kind! She has been accused of plagiarism.

Oh, no! The Duchess of Sussex has caused even more drama for herself and in the worst way. According to 9Honey, the former actress has been accused of plagiarism. This comes after she made a speech to a virtual event and her comments were compared to the Netflix movie, The Social Dilemma.

The film focuses on the dangerous and somewhat addictiveness of social media platforms. Users on Twitter who saw Meghan’s speech and the movie noticed how similar the two were and broke it down.

It should be noted that this is not the first time the former working royal has been accused of plagiarism. Some people have accused her of stealing writer’s quotes and using them on her former blog, The Tig without crediting the original author. A writer on the Question and Answer site, Quora posted this post on the duchess’ previous copy and paste efforts.

Meghan finds a quote she likes and alters it to her liking. If you look at the Quora post, you will also see that she copied her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana which proves she was a fan.

All the duchess seems to do is to bury herself and Harry in even more trouble. This latest plagiarism accusation is nothing new. She wanted to be in the media controlling what’s going on in their lives, despite saying they both wanted privacy. Talk about double standards. There’s one load of rules for them and another lot for the rest of the world.

Meghan’s fans will say anything to defend her like, ‘She didn’t know she was copying from The Social Dilemma.’ Ah… yes, she did. She knew exactly what she was doing when she planned that speech.

Plagiarism is a serious offence if you’re caught. Meghan probably thought she wouldn’t be.
