It seems like so long ago that the College Admissions Scandal was headline news. Now, a year on, we’re fighting a virus. Anyway, the staged rowing photos of Lori Loughlin’s daughters, Olivia and Bella have surfaced.
Lori Loughlin is back in the news and still not in a good way. Still maintaining her and her husband’s innocence, the long talked about staged rowing photos of their daughters, Olivia Jade and Bella have been unveiled by TMZ. The pics of the privileged daughters of the Fuller House actress and Mossimo Giannulli are damning as hell and prove that the girls knew their parents were committing fraud to get them into the University of Southern California.
The College Counsellor
To make it even worse for them, more information has come out about what went down between Mossimo and Olivia’s college counsellor, Philip Petrone. According to Refinery 29, a memo from 2018 explains that the teacher had concerns over information that was given to him regarding the YouTuber’s rowing experience.
Petrone had an inkling that the information regarding Olivia’s college admissions was false. When he attempted to question it, it’s alleged Mossimo was insistent that his daughter had to get into USC. What makes this disgusting is the idea that he used the ‘Do you know who I am?’ line for his daughter.
The counsellor allegedly explained that he knew that Olivia was a YouTuber and gave her a glowing recommendation just to get her father off his back.
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli might be rich and have wanted their daughters to go to only USC, but they were idiots to think they wouldn’t get caught. While the photos of Olivia and Bella on rowing machine only goes to show how guilty they are in trying to sell their innocence.
Even though the faces of the girls are blurred out, you can still tell which one is Olivia and which one Bella is. These are pretty damning. Lori and Mossimo’s defence is still that they didn’t know that their money was being used as a bribe and generally thought it was going to be used as a donation.
While it’s not rare for someone wealthy to donate money or a building to an Ivy League school. Normally, the cash goes to a legitimate fund that is associated with the school. However, Loughlin and Giannulli thought that William “Rick” Singer and his organisation known as The Key would give their ‘donation’ to the school. This is why they have pleaded not guilty.
However, the fake resumes and the photos along with other pieces of critical evidence such as emails and wire taps.
Rich Think They Can Get Away With Anything
As we’ve stated before, anyone who got caught up in the scandal are idiots in thinking they’d get away with it. Lori and Mossimo are two of those very people. They thought that because they had money, they would get away with committing fraud and everyone would forgive them.
Committing a crime and there being evidence shows how ignorant this couple is. Lori is a beloved television actress and Mossimo has a self-named fashion brand. Though, that does not excuse their behaviour. They thought their winning smiles and zero criminal record would get them off. It also lead them to think they’d just continue with their lavish lives.
We’re sorry to break it to you, Lori and Moss. Karma finds its way back and can bite anyone – even the wealthy on the ass. If you don’t do the right thing, it haunts you. Your careers are now in shambles. There’s a very slim chance you’ll come back from this. There is one thing we know. Hallmark won’t take back their golden girl. She’s been cut from When Calls the Heart and the final season of Fuller House went on without her.
Let’s not forget that Olivia lost almost all her known sponsorships because of the scandal. She then went back to YouTube for like, a month and posted only two videos. After she posted her GRWM (Get Ready With Me) vid, she’s gone MIA again. Though, she has popped up on Instagram again and she has a TikTok account.
If anything, we think the Giannulli family should remain out of the spotlight until their court date. Though, we wouldn’t have anything to talk about if that were the case.
