Hawkeye: Set Photos Reveal New (And Old) Information Regarding Clint’s Next Adventure

Clint Barton is back in his own Disney+ series

Everybody’s favourite bow wielding Avenger, Clint Barton is back in Hawkeye, coming soon to Disney+. We’ve known about the series for a while but we’ve actually got a bit more information than we did previously. The series has since started filming and set photos have revealed a lot of stuff that has been public knowledge since development. Though, there’s Intel not previously known.

The information comes from the Hawkeye series page on the Marvel Cinematic Universe Fandom site.

Jeremy Renner is back as Clint Barton, the Oliver Queen of Marvel comics. he will be joined by Hailee Steinfield who has been revealed officially to be playing Hawkeye’s protégé, Kate Bishop.

The Barton kids are also back with Ava Russo, Ben Sakamoto, and Cade Woodward reprising their roles as Lila, Cooper, and Nate Barton.

Vera Farmiga is on board to play Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother.

Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from Black Widow.

Other castings including:

  • Fra Fee as Kazimierz Kazimierczak/Clown
  • Tony Dalton as Jack Duquesne
  • Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez
  • Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo
  • Jolt the Dog as Lucky (the Pizza Dog?)

Brian d’Arcy James has been cast as an unknown character and Madame Masque is scheduled to also appear but no actress has yet been attached to the role.

Some Things We Noticed

One of the biggest things we noticed is that Renner is seen wearing what looks like hearing aides. If Clint is deaf then it would be a nod to the comics as Barton has a hearing impairment there too. However, he also has aides in his ears during Avengers which no one seemed to have noticed until the filming for Hawkeye started.

Another thing we noticed is the series is likely to be set in 2025 as in one of the photos has a banner that says ‘Happy New Year 2025’.

Now, we’ve seen a lot of the behind-the-scenes photos but we can’t remember whee we saw it. Though, we did find this post from Mashable.

There was a time where we thought we might not get Renner back as Clint. He had a personal situation that had to be sorted before the series started production. Thankfully, it has all been sorted out.
