Before jump into our MCU News dive, if you’ve come here for the upcoming televisions that are still coming, you’ll be a bit disappointed. Furthermore, the drop only covered film releases rather than the whole of Phase Four that is still to come.

New Footage

The shot of Angelina Jolie’s character, Thena with the sword basically broke the internet. It is one of the best promo images we’ve EVER seen for an MCU project. Looks like it’s going to be a load of fun.

The Jon Watts directed Fantastic Four will be released in Phase Four but there is no date attached. Blade was not included in the lineup.

Name Changes

Our second MCU News drop was that a few of the upcoming films that have been announced will have different titles.

The first change is the Captain Marvel sequel which was originally entitled simply, Captain Marvel 2. However, this has been changed to The Marvels to reflect on the inclusion Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan/ Ms. Marvel from the upcoming Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel.

Finally, Change number two is the Black Panther sequel. Once titled Black Panther II, it is now styled as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Details on the film are currently under wraps but it has been confirmed that the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa will be at least mentioned and will not be recast.
